Marcel Schneider founded «Marcel Schneider SA» in 1953. When he died in 1974 his son Dany took over responsibility for the company, splitting the firm into three companies

• Schneider Déménagements SA
• Schneider Transports SA
• M. Schneider SA

At the same time Dany Schneider became president of the Swiss Association for Movers (CVSM) for almost 10 years, was involved with various other associations and was present at many conventions. Dany Schneider had understood that it was most important for his company to establish close relationships with moving professionals around the world.

In 2003, he decided to ensure his succession by transferring Schneider Déménagements SA to three associates who were already well known in the moving business, namely Lenny Madussi, Stéphane Leriche and Reto Ackermann.

These young entrepreneurs have as their objective to develop the company by bringing in new ideas, a new corporate image and an efficient marketing approach.

In October 2003, the company’s first innovation was to give a new brand identity to the international arm of Schneider Déménagements. MS Move Management was born.

This new brand name is used only for international business, Schneider Déménagements continuing as the mainstay of activities and the local and national operator for Switzerland.
