OMNI Connect was developed by the OMNI Association (Overseas Moving Network International). The system provides each of the 270 OMNI member companies around the world with the capability of loading all information on a move into the agent’s system, thus avoiding any potential errors due to mistakes in data capture or to poor communications. Hitherto the different systems in place with each of our members made it impossible to transfer information directly. Thanks to this programme, it is now possible for all members’ computer systems to communicate with each other, independently of the technology used. The result is that we now have a fully integrated global network, something quite unique in our profession.
